Description

I am new to Java and more so to mapDB.

I am trying to add a modification to an evaluation copy of an Apache-Tomcat application.
I need to store an existing variable that is generated from a Javascript function. It then needs to be available to another client.

Initially I thought php/mysql, but this app (webserver) does not support php. Bummer.

So would I be correct in assuming that mapDB is what I should use versus some other method?

Thanks and I really appreciate your response.

Research direction

The issue names an Apache-Tomcat application, a JavaScript-generated variable, and MapDB, but no repository files or tests. Start by clarifying the application's storage and client-sharing requirements and reviewing the relevant MapDB usage documentation; done would mean a documented, project-specific recommendation.
