Description

Love the app! I had a question. I wanted to know if I could change the resolution, lowering the resolution from 1080p to 720p. I know I can already do that in games by changing game settings, but I can't do that with the virtual machine settings in Windows; it's locked/fixed to 1920 by 1080p by default, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. 1080p is great. Reasoning: I want it lowered, becuase sometimes I run simultaneous games on my main Windows and also on my virtual machine, all on the same PC, so lowering the resolution all around to 720p on both sides would heavily increase the gameplay smoothness. I mean, I can already do both on 1080p, but like I said, both on 720p will be a whole lot smoother.

I just want to tell you thank you for making/developing this app. It is very amazing and simpler to use than the regular Hyper-V setup. It had a little bit of a learning curve with some things that they used to do at first, but it works very well.

Just to clarify i also cant change resolution in game either its stuck on 1920x1080p. We need an option to adjust resolution for max enjoyability and performance

Research direction

No files, tests, or entry points are named in the issue. Start by locating the virtual machine display and resolution configuration, then trace how the Windows guest currently receives its fixed 1920×1080 setting; done means selecting 720p and confirming that both the desktop and games use the requested resolution.
