Looks like TableTool is now dead. Anybody suggest alternatives? (no search, no comments text, no rename headers..)

As others already mentioned, badly needed.

Comment text in CSV

Some CSV files come with comment text above the headers. Most notable example is any CSV reports or templates from Ebay. Table Tool can't handle them. It doesn't show the data, unless the comment line above the header is deleted first in MS Excel in by opening the CSV in text editor first. I do it via Easy Data Transform app but that has cost me 100 dollar just so that I can remove the headers before opening the CSV.

Edit the header names

Wish editing header names was possible. Same workaround as above.

Table Tool is good. But it could become even better.

Why not start charging money for it, for example 14.99, I would still pay for it at any moment even 24.99 if it does what it does. And then you will have easier to justify the time you spend developing it.

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points, so first locate the CSV import path in the Mac application. Done means CSV files with comment text above their headers display correctly and users can edit header names; confirm both behaviors with focused tests or manual checks.
