Can't widen last column in grid view

I can't seem to get a handle on widening the last column in the table records view so I can read the name of the column. Instead it widens the window without widening the column.

Furthermore, two fingered dragging pulling back the last view is super annoying. Stop doing that. I'm trying to get to the end of my record, not go back to the last table view.

No files, tests, or entry points are named. Reproduce the issue in the grid/table records view, then trace the last-column resizing and two-finger navigation behavior; done means the final column widens and dragging at the end no longer navigates back to the previous table view.
