Not able to connect with password of length 837 characters. Is there a limit on password length?

Attempted to connect to a server using the same settings as I'm using in dbeaver and directly from psycopg2 in python. I'm also using the following pre-connect shell script, because I didn't see any other way to set the sslmode. This setting matches my settings in dbeaver and psycopg
