Description

## What did you do?
Attempted to connect to a server using the same settings as I'm using in dbeaver and directly from psycopg2 in python. I'm also using the following pre-connect shell script, because I didn't see any other way to set the sslmode. This setting matches my settings in dbeaver and psycopg

Research direction

No source file, test, or entry point is named. Start by reproducing the Postico 2.1.2 connection with the 837-character password and compare it with psycopg2 and DBeaver; done means determining whether Postico truncates or rejects the password and documenting or correcting the behavior.
