a more obivious way of closing the filter bar

It took me a while to figure out how to close the filter bar (cmd + f).
Maybe a small (x) button in the top right would be helpful – it should clear the filter and close the bar.
Also the input field for the filter term open the spelling corrections when hitting like in #2.

Start by reproducing the filter bar opened with Cmd+F, then inspect the filter bar and its input field behavior. Done means a visible top-right close button clears the filter and closes the bar, while Esc in the filter input exposes spelling corrections as described in issue #2.
