Description
I would hate to be forced to switch to another Postgres client if development of Postico gets stuck or becomes uneconomical.
I think there are enough people who, like me, would be willing to give some amount per month.
Having a definite per-month income might be helpful in ensuring the continuing development of the app - maybe even pay for another developer. Subscription licensing is probably hard to pull off for a small developer, but this kind of voluntary subscription licensing might work out.
Perks could be:
- monthly development updates
- the ability to vote on fixes/features for the next version

Research direction
No files, tests, or entry points are mentioned. Start by reviewing the project's current development status and the issue discussion, then define the scope of a Patreon or comparable voluntary-support system, including proposed perks and payment-service constraints. Done would require an agreed product and implementation plan rather than a single code change.
