Description

Hello guys,

following this question:

[http://stackoverflow.com/questions/19361166/jpa-equivalent-for-hibernate-filters](http://stackoverflow.com/questions/19361166/jpa-equivalent-for-hibernate-filters)

I would like to suggest that you include JPA equivalent to Hibernate's Filter. I'm using the filters of hibernate quite a lot and I think they are very helpful, so now i'm bound to use hibernate and I can't switch my JPA implementation.

Start by reading the linked Stack Overflow question and the issue's request for a JPA equivalent to Hibernate Filters. Define the required JPA behavior and scope before identifying implementation entry points; done means the proposed capability is specified and supported by the persistence project.
