2. name="external-guava" --this git is not in sane state, no HEAD branch,etc.
will fail at 'repo sync'

Start with the rowboat-froyo-am1808.xml, rowboat-froyo-am389x.xml, rowboat-froyo.xml, and rowboat-froyo-dsp.xml manifest entries, then inspect the external-guava repository reference. Run the documented repo init and repo sync commands; done means the manifest names are consistent and synchronization no longer fails because external-guava lacks a valid HEAD branch.
