Description
```
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.
Using a Beagleboard Xm or a AM37X
2.
Pluggin in any USB device
3.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see any device be listed when I try to access it through an
application. Unfortunately not a single device can be found. Under Androidx86
and various real Android tablets, everything works fine with the exact same
code, but neither the beagleboard nor the AM37X ever let me access USB devices.
I used the ICS prebuilts offered here.
When I use a USB detection app, it also cannot list any devices, but on other
hardware everything works
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Tried under Android ICS on beagleboard and AM37X, also with TI sources, nothing
works. Noone at TI seems to have any idea what's going wrong.
Please help me, I'm stuck for so long now!
Research direction
Reproduce the issue on a Beagleboard Xm or AM37X using the Android ICS prebuilt and a USB device, then compare with Android x86 or a tablet where detection works. Start by tracing USB enumeration in the TI/Android sources; done when connected devices are listed by applications and the USB detection app.
