On-screen keyboard doesn't work properly in Chrome

I don't get the autocorrect/autocomplete stuff which makes typing on glass really hard. It works in Edge, so my guess is that this has something to do with Chrome not being "native enough"?

Start by reproducing on-screen keyboard typing in Chrome and compare its autocorrect and autocomplete behavior with Edge. Done means the keyboard provides the expected autocorrect and autocomplete support in Chrome; the issue names no files or tests to begin with.
