Description

For some reason the SDK wants to perform some action while you drag the model around in the tree leading to huge cpu and memory spikes. And more often than not, once you drop the model, it will disappear.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the problem in the SceneExplorer tree with a model that has built-in materials, then observe CPU and memory use during drag-and-drop and whether the model disappears after dropping. Trace the SDK action triggered while dragging and define done as moving the model without resource spikes or disappearance.
