Description
By throwing a newly created NotInAssetPathException.
Problems:
- How do we correctly determine that we are outside of the asset folder?
- Everyone using the Asset Manager needs to wrap that Exception and show the appropriate dialogue. We can't do that for all at once.

Research direction
Start by tracing the Asset Manager entry points and its callers to determine how the asset-folder boundary should be identified. Define what the new NotInAssetPathException should cover and how each caller should present the appropriate dialogue; the issue does not name files or tests, so the scope needs maintainer clarification first.
