Description
Not sure if this was intentional or an oversite, but the recent 2.0 release doesn't have a tag. I noticed this when looking for a summary of the recent update by clicking on the "releases" button in GitHub, which currently shows:

Also, it might be nice for your users if you create a [GitHub release](https://docs.github.com/en/repositories/releasing-projects-on-github/managing-releases-in-a-repository) that shows the changelog for each release.

Research direction
Check the repository’s Releases and tags pages first, then read the linked GitHub release documentation. Confirm whether the 2.0 commit lacks a tag and determine whether a GitHub release with changelog information is also expected; done means the requested release metadata is present.
