### Describe the issue
I noticed that the filter_smooth_laplacian() method created nan values in the bunny mesh. This does not make sense to me. Does somebody know if this is a bug or if I did something wrong?
### Steps to reproduce the bug
```python
import numpy as np
import open3d as o3d
bunny_mesh = o3d.data.BunnyMesh()
alpha = o3d.io.read_triangle_mesh(bunny_mesh.path)
alpha_smooth = alpha.filter_smooth_laplacian(number_of_iterations=1, lambda_filter=.1)
print(np.asarray(alpha_smooth.vertices)[np.isnan(np.asarray(alpha_smooth.vertices))])
# Output: [nan nan nan ... nan nan nan]
```
