### Describe the issue
I have been trying to visualize a mesh far away from the origin and noticed that the visualization is not working as expected.
Here is how the visualization looks like for the following example

### Steps to reproduce the bug
```python
import open3d as o3d
import numpy as np
knot_mesh = o3d.data.KnotMesh()
mesh = o3d.io.read_triangle_mesh(knot_mesh.path)
mesh.compute_vertex_normals()
mesh.translate(3e7 * np.array([1, 1, 1]), relative=False)
o3d.visualization.draw_geometries([mesh])
```
### Error message
_No response_
### Expected behavior
The visualization should not change when the mesh is translated
