Description

Hello, tbodt. Please look into Python wheel builds if you have a spare moment, their building time is significantly above usual SBUs on 32-bit linux machines. I’m sure Python is quite important for may users.

For example, pip3 install numpy hangs.

I’m currently waiting for the build to finish and will post the approximate wall clock time if it does, but it’s already been several hours.

PS I’m working on installing data science software on iSH / Linux (Jupyter with iPy and iR kernels + R + GLPK) and can share the script provided the build is successful. There may also be a way to run more software (like Stata or Matlab 32-bit) but it requires a functional glibc. Creating a chroot with Ubuntu, Debian or ArchLinux (which include glibc) so far results in illegal instructions when launching the software. It would be great if at least Python worked.
