“Disable Screen Dimming” Doesn’t Work

Description
Selecting the setting “Disable Screen Dimming” on my iPad 6th Gen and iPhone 7 results in the screen still turning off and locking after a certain amount of time. I’m running iOS/iPadOS 13.5.1
