Description
Looks like with the new releases pysolid is a mandatory requirement now and many core tests fail if it is not installed. Will this be true going ahead?
This essentially requires fortran compilers to be available to use isce3

Research direction
Review how the new releases declare and install pysolid, then run the core tests in an environment without pysolid to confirm the reported failures. Check the project’s installation and test requirements for the expected Fortran compiler dependency. Done means documenting or correcting whether pysolid and a Fortran compiler are mandatory.
