Create additional indices on data

**Question**
I'm using Hive to store a list of 10,000 objects. I would like to access those objects not only through the main key/index, but create additional indices on specific attributes. How is anybody handling this? Do you create additional boxes with an index mapping or am I missing something ?

No files, tests, or entry points are mentioned. Start by clarifying the desired indexing behavior and constraints with maintainers, then locate the existing key/index implementation and its tests. Done would require an agreed design and corresponding implementation and coverage.
