Prevent deletion of records with browser Developer Tools

**Question**
I am able to open up developer tools and delete records. The box is encrypted, but the key is visible and records can be deleted.
While unlikely, this can be a major issue.

Can this be prevented - or -
Is there a way to be notified / verify that the box has been changed outside of the application itself, so I can rebuild the box?
