Research direction
Start by reproducing the issue with Debugify, ReplayMod, debugify, Quilt 0.18.10, and MC-108948 enabled, following the chunk unload and return steps. Investigate the MC-108948 fix and the boat rendering path; done means boats render after returning to their location without errors.
