controlfiy cant pickup two controllers at once

Current Behaviour

i was trying to set up spilt screen via prism launcher and i was trying to assign controllers to each window (player 1'
s controller is the 8bitdo ultimate 2c and player 2's controller is my old xbox one s controller) and when i went to controller settings for each window i could only see one controller for each window and if i pressed one button on either controller that controller would show up in the game.
(im using mc version 26.1.2 fabric)

Expected Behaviour

i should see both controllers in controller settings
