Description

  • Mod name: Ad Astra
  • Mod version: 1.15.20

Describe the problem
You normally press and hold "jump" to fly using the Ad Astra Jetsuit. This does not work with the Controlify jump option. I've tried modifying most any of the available options to no avail as well as used a couple of different controllers

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Install Controlify, and AdAstra in a Minecraft 1.20.1 Fabric 0.16.13 instance
  2. Boot the game, load a server / world
  3. Equip the Ad Astra Jet suit
  4. Try flying by holding "Jump" on your controller. You will only jump repeatedly.

Expected behavior
You should "fly" with jets, vertically if you are not sprinting and horizontally if you are sprinting

Minecraft Info (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Windows 11 24H2
  • Minecraft Version: 1.20.1
  • Controlify Version: 2.0.4
  • Fabric Version: 0.16.13

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue in the listed Minecraft 1.20.1 Fabric setup with Controlify 2.0.4 and Ad Astra, then trace the controller jump handling while the Ad Astra Jetsuit is equipped. Done means holding the controller Jump input activates vertical or sprinting horizontal flight instead of repeated jumping.
