Description

Mod Info

  • Mod name: Movement in GUI
  • Mod version: 1.0.2 for 1.21.4

Describe the problem
When I open my inventory, I crouch. Also when I close it, I uncrouch and crouch again when opening my inventory, and whenever I close my inventory, I am not crouching.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Use with Movement in GUI or Invmove mod
  2. Open Inventory
  3. Crouch when you are not supposed to

Expected behavior
I crouch, I open my inventory, I stay crouched, I close it, and stay crouched, I uncrouch, open my inventory, which does not make me start crouching, I close my inventory and stay uncrouched.

Minecraft Info:

  • OS: NixOS [Linux]
  • Minecraft Version: 1.21.4
  • Movement in GUI Version: mc1.21.4-1.0.2

Additional context
I am guessing that this probably would also be with InvMove (I don't know though, because I currently am not playing on a version where that mod is on.)

Research direction

Start by reproducing the inventory interaction with Minecraft 1.21.4 and Movement in GUI or InvMove enabled, checking crouch state before opening and after closing the inventory. Done means opening and closing the inventory no longer changes whether the player is crouching.
