When my totem explodes and I open my inventory too quickly, the game crashes. This issue likely occurs because the game cannot handle simultaneous processes involving the totem's destruction and the inventory's loading causing the crash

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to Server
2. Equip a totem
3. Pop the totem and equip it again
4. game crashes with -1 error

Expected behavior
I did not have this kind of issue before, but when I put this other mod to put items on offhand having something similar to equipping itens just by oppening the inventory and clicking a bottom to equip faster

This crashes started as I play cpvp

Start by reproducing the crash on Windows 11 with Minecraft 1.21, Controlify 2.0.0-beta.14, and the reported totem and inventory sequence on a server. The issue does not name a source file, test, stack trace, or the other mod involved. Done means the sequence no longer crashes with the -1 error, including when the inventory is opened quickly after the totem is used.
