Description

Mod Info

  • Distant Horizons
  • Mod version: 2.1.2-a

Describe the problem
When using Controlify and Distant Horizons together, the game will run fine for a few minutes and then crash. Without Distant Horizons Controlify does not cause a crash, and without Controlify Distant Horizons does not cause a crash.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Have Controlify 2.0.0 Beta 13 installed at the same time as Distant Horizons 2.1.2-a
  2. Open a world
  3. Play for a few minutes
  4. Game crashes

Expected behavior
There would be no crashes

Minecraft Info:

  • OS: Windows 11
  • Minecraft Version: 1.21
  • Controlify Version: 2.0.0 Beta 13

Additional context
I don't believe I can provide much additional context, but I do want to say that Controlify is the best controller mod I have found for Java yet, and that I look forward to further updates <3

Research direction

Start by reproducing the crash with Controlify 2.0.0 Beta 13 and Distant Horizons 2.1.2-a on Minecraft 1.21, then inspect the crash report and game log for the failing interaction. Done means the same setup can run for the reproduction period without crashing.
