Function Pasted with %cpaste Not Available In Editor with %edit

Description
I use %edit to edit functions from Ipython in Vim. But when I attempt this with any function that I pasted in with %cpaste all I get in my editor is 'get_ipython().magic('cpaste')', instead of the function.
Tested on Linux, Python 3.4 with Ipython 2.2.0 and 3.0.0-dev.
