> Shipyard will not ship Kubo 0.44. [Shipyard](https://ipshipyard.com/)'s IPFS work ends on September 30, 2026 ([announcement](https://web.archive.org/https://ipshipyard.com/blog/2026-the-end-of-ipfs-at-shipyard/)). After that date, no one at Shipyard maintains Kubo or runs its release process.

This issue is a placeholder, not a release tracker. Whoever takes over Kubo maintenance should open a new tracking issue and close this one.
