regression tests fail on Ubuntu with 4.4 and 4.9-rc kernels

Hi there,

While sanity checking the 4.9-rc kernel against bcc I hit a load of regression failures with the bcc "make test" regression tests. Are these expected? I re-ran them with an older 4.8 (Yakkety) and 4.4 (Xenial) Ubuntu kernels and get different results. Are these test failures expected?
