Description

### Version

2.1.1

### Description

Dear IOTA team,

I am currently using the IOTA Wallet Chrome Extension (latest version) with my Ledger Nano X. The wallet correctly detects my IOTA address and balance from the Ledger device, but when I attempt to send a transaction, nothing happens on the Ledger. No signing prompt is displayed. The wallet just hangs or silently fails.

Test environment:
- macOS 15.5 (24F74) – iMac 24" (2023), Apple M3 Chip
- Chrome 124.0.6367.119
- Ledger Nano X
- Ledger Live is up to date
- IOTA App version: 0.9.3

This issue appears similar to #8220 which refers to Shimmer, but I am seeing it on the IOTA Mainnet.

Can you confirm:
- Is transaction signing via Ledger currently supported on IOTA Mainnet?
- Are there known issues with macOS and the current WebUSB connection?
- When will migration from Firefly be fully supported with Ledger for Mainnet users?

Thanks in advance – this affects Ledger users who cannot move their funds securely.

Best regards,
Frank

### Expected behaviour

Ledger Nano X should display a signing prompt when sending a transaction via the IOTA Wallet Extension, allowing the user to approve or reject the action.

### Actual behaviour

The wallet shows that a transaction is being processed, but the Ledger Nano X does not react. No signing prompt appears on the device. The wallet either hangs or silently fails.
