[Bug report]: Long Delay with SMR 2.1.2 to initial ledger transaction

In initiating any type of transaction the delays are significant in my Firefly Shimmer wallet when using Ledger. What typically takes a fraction of a second or a second or two with each step of the transaction once initiated is now taking minutes.

### Expected behaviour

I expected this to all move much faster.

### Actual behaviour

In initiating any type of transaction the delays are significant in my Firefly Shimmer wallet when using Ledger. What typically takes a fraction of a second or a second or two with each step of the transaction once initiated is now taking minutes. Example: Simple Send Function From clicking send to seeing the ledger screen asking me to approve the transaction on my ledger S took 4 minutes before I gave up, cancel the transaction, close the wallet, unplugged and reset The Ledger. Opened up Wallet again.
Lendger Unlock requested - dealy from unlock to requesting I open Shimmer App - 2 seconds. Acknowledgment of Shimmer Ap Open - Immediate. Initiates a new transaction. Only begin to set up a new transaction and then Firefly asks me to Verify a transaction, so I am guessing this is the prior session's transaction that just now asking for approval. About a minute later my ledger requests approval and by the time I type this out, that approve is gone from ledger but still requested in firefly. I quite Shimmer app on ledger and restart it. Nothing changes on Firefly, stil requesting ledger approval. Restart Wallet. Restart Ledger. unlock both. initiate a transaction. Send! "FF message - Open Shimmer Ap on Ledger. Opened. Then I am prompted to continue. I click continue and start my timer. 27 seconds until Verify transaction screen appears on firefly. Another minute and 15 seconds before the transaction approval appears on my ledger. Once approved everything moves very fast and transaction completes in typical time.
