Empty selection in Activity drop-down(Time Clock page)

Validate in the activity dropdown the empty selection. Currently, if accidentally a user selects the activity as empty, the app shows the message: “Input payload validation failed", and the user has to refresh the page to see the data that was previously on the page.

Start with the Activity dropdown on the Time Clock page and reproduce selecting an empty activity. Trace the validation failure and verify that an empty selection is handled without requiring a page refresh, while the previously displayed data remains visible.
