[enhancement]: It is hard to recognize which layer is enabled. I have to find the little grey dot all the time. Making active layers more prominent will help a lot.

A slightly highlighed layer background will help a lot in distinguishing those enabled and disabled. I hope you find this useful.

Less favorable solution is to move the dots from the further right of the screen back close to the layer name or layer thumbnail
