### What should this feature add?

I'd like to be able to paste in an image from the clipboard directly to the canvas, possibly with a prompt about what layer type to create (raster vs controlnet vs inpaint mask, etc). This would help smooth out the case where you're moving back and forth between Invoke and another image program repeatedly, since you wouldn't need to go through the extra steps of uploading the image, finding it in the assets tab and creating a layer from it each time. I *think* this functionality existed pre-5.0 but got removed in the canvas rework.
