Description
Since basic functionalities for series might soon be implemented, I think, we should discuss whether series IDs should be included in our metadata and which ones specifically.
Here are some IDs that we have, that can also be used for series:
- ISBNs
Often book series have ISBNs for themselves. In such case, book has two ISBNs printed out: one for the series and the other one for the specific volume
- Wikisource
They have pages for multiple volume works and periodicals like newspaper. See page for The New York Times https://en.wikisource.org/wiki/The_New_York_Times
- Goodreads
