Our site was founded in 2010 in the department of Special branches of Historical science and online informational resources of History institute of Ukrainian Academy of Sciences. For a long time our site was developed as integral part of History institute of Academy of Sciences.

In 2014-2015 our site had hard times by losing most data and connection with basic portal and only saving a domain name.

Now we present a completely updated, restructirised, independent internet-resource developed on WordPress. Since 2017 ZBROEZNAV.COM became an official site of public organisation "Центр дослідження історичної зброї" (Center of Arms & Armor Studies)
