1. Merge authors/works
2. conduct an author search/look at the author's page
* Actual: Data is updated
* Expected: Data stays the same

I don't merge anything myself, I just send the requests to be performed by @dcapillae.
After merging the works of an author, the number of works displayed on the author search page stays the same.
similiarly, I've experienced books not showing on an author's page even though they're linked. Thought it would sort itself out on its own but after a few days I manually fixed it by deleting the author fields from the work and then re-adding them.
