Description
hi
I have recently extensively tested and used AI Playground, and I must say it has truly surpassed my expectations. The ability for it to run large local models efficiently on a GPU is remarkable and something that was not feasible in the past. Moreover, its image generation capabilities are impressive, catering to both standard and high-definition requirements quite satisfactorily.
However, there are some areas where AI Playground could improve:
1. **Rendering Issues**: There's a recurring problem with images not being properly rendered or generated, even when attempting to download them from within the application. This hinders the user experience significantly.
2. **Model Compatibility**: There are instances where AI Playground struggles to run certain large models downloaded from Hugging Face, leading to unexpected bugs.
Given my positive outlook on AI Playground's future, I have a few suggestions for enhancements:
1. **Expand Generative Image Models**: Introduce more models into the "generate" section to offer users greater flexibility and creativity.
2. **Enhance Image Display**: Ensure that uploaded photos are fully visible upon uploading, without being obscured by the toolbars or features below.
3. **Support for gguf Files**: Incorporating support for the gguf format would be highly beneficial, especially if it also includes an image recognition feature. Adding the capability to manage uploaded documents through "Open File Uploader" would further enhance usability.
4. **API Integration**: Providing API access to AI Playground would facilitate integration into other applications, similar to platforms like Ollama and LM Studio. This would expand its utility beyond just standalone usage.
In conclusion, AI Playground holds great potential and I believe it should continue to evolve into the go-to application for Intel users interacting with AI technologies. Your improvements will undoubtedly make it an even more valuable resource.
