[Bug]: picks UI doesn't show options

### What happened?

Sometimes on Rstudio the teal.picks UI is not properly shown (screenshot of teal.osprey example):

I observed this specially with the group variable, but it might be due to some code around it or it might be my current setup.
The selection is not possible but the apps work.
