Description
Currently milkomeda and multichain use their own metadata formats to identify the target address (https://cips.cardano.org/cips/cip10/registry.json). It would be beneficial if these metadata were standardized as part of CIPs, so they can be read by external applications (e.g. explorers, wallets).

Research direction
Start by reviewing the CIP-10 registry and comparing the metadata formats currently used by Milkomeda and Multichain. Done means a proposed CIP standard clearly defines target-address metadata and explains how external applications such as explorers and wallets can read it.
