New Included Ink File doesn't create directory

On MacOS Sierra, when creating a New Ink File and specifying a sub directory, if that sub directory does not exist it is never created and therefore the file is never created or saved. No errors occur other than the file name text remaining bold which for a new user will result in data loss.
