NuGet not available preventing easy use outside Unity

Description
As per the title, it appears the NuGet (https://www.nuget.org/packages/Inkle.Ink.Engine/) is no longer being maintained. This makes it difficult to use ink outside Unity, such as for custom engines or projects.
Is this intentional?
Are there any plans to start updating this again in the future?
What is the recommended process for consuming ink from a custom engine if NuGet is not available?
