Description
Hi everyone,
I've really just started diving in to Ink and really getting in to it. Primarily I use Unity to do all of my games dev and haven't had any trouble setting Ink up with it so far. However, I just wondered if anyone had used Ink in the situation where you might have multiple actors on screen at the same time (a top-down RPG for example).
So far I've got an idea of a main story arc that various actors will be responsible for triggering at certain points 'if' the current story position has reached that point, then they move it forward. Sort of a manual progression (choices included).
If they haven't, then they just basically say something else that exists in a thread that belongs to that entity on their own. Casual chit-chat so to speak. However extra logic could be run to make them say different things depending on story progress.
Before diving down the complete wrong route, I wondered if anyone else might have any pointers for a beginner. If not, no worries. I shall keep digging. :D
Thanks very much, happy Inking!
