Description
Hello,
im trying to send some EC2 VM metrics (RHEL8 OS) into Azure Monitor using telegraf.
This EC2 is part of Azure using ARC server enable feature, the EC2 is already connected to Azure.
What im trying to do is use telegraf with procstat plugin (https://github.com/influxdata/telegraf/tree/master/plugins/inputs/procstat) as input and Azure Monitor Output Plugin as output.
https://github.com/influxdata/telegraf/blob/master/plugins/outputs/azure_monitor/README.md
https://www.influxdata.com/integration/output-azure-monitor/
For what im checking it looks like is possible with a Azure VM
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-monitor/essentials/collect-custom-metrics-linux-telegraf
But i dont know how to do it over Arc Enable.
Do you have any idea or comment about, should work?

Research direction
Start with the procstat input plugin and the Azure Monitor output README linked in the issue, then compare them with Microsoft's Linux Telegraf custom-metrics guidance. Verify whether Azure Arc-enabled EC2 servers are supported, identify any configuration or platform limitations, and document the confirmed setup or explain the unsupported path.
