## Describe Development Experience Issue:
There is no documentation anywhere on how to build the new InfluxDB, this prevents package managers from packaging it. See https://github.com/Homebrew/homebrew-core/pull/222644
### Steps to reproduce:
1. Check https://github.com/influxdata/influxdb/blob/main/CONTRIBUTING.md
2. Check https://github.com/influxdata/influxdb/blob/main/README.md#:~:text=If%20you%20are%20interested%20in%20building%20from%20source%2C%20see%20the%20building%20from%20source%20guide%20for%20contributors.
3. Notice there are no instructions
### Desired result:
Any documentation on how to build the new version
### Actual result:
No documentation for the new version, and the documentation that exists points to v2.

Research direction
Start with CONTRIBUTING.md and README.md, following their existing source-build references and checking how they describe the older version. Document the current InfluxDB v3 build process and update those references so a package maintainer can build it from source.
