Influx refuse connection with SSL 1.2 and older?Is it true?

I read that influx (the cloud version) refuse old SSL encription like SSL 1.2 and SSL 1.1.
But is really true? I use a modem SIMCOM SIM7070G to send data to influx over LTE net, the module is provided only of SSL1.2 encryption and influx accept my data without any problem!!

My question is: my module could be use for the future or not?
