Description
Field numMeasurements in measurement influxdb_database is significantly less then actual.
It is always different after restarting the InfluxDB, but always less or significantly less than actual.
After deleting measurements it goes negative (I got -3,000 measurements in my database!).
Notice that my DB had large number of measurements and I am cleaning old ephemeral ones.
InfluxDB v. 1.8.10

Research direction
Start by reproducing the numMeasurements discrepancy on InfluxDB v1.8.10, including a restart and deletion of many ephemeral measurements. Compare the reported count with the actual measurements after each operation; done means the count remains accurate and does not become negative.
