Description
Hi Experts,
I am pretty novice in this area...
I am running influxdb using docker container where data gets injected for data visualisation via Grafana.
Unfortunately my disk gets filled up quickly (of course I need to dimension it properly next time) and was trying to cleanup. I did delete all the the series within my database, but could not get the disk usage down...
Anything specific I need to do within the docker container - e.g. delete index/tmp files ?
InfluxDB version 1.7.8

Research direction
Start with the Docker container and InfluxDB 1.7.8 setup described, then verify disk usage before and after deleting series and inspect the index or temporary files mentioned. Done means identifying the supported cleanup procedure and documenting how to confirm that disk space is reclaimed.
