add support for check view to influx packages

After speakign with @russorat, this turns out to be tech debt we need to clean up. Simply eradicating it from the platform is what we're going to do here instead of addign it to pkger as it is no longer supported.

No file, test, or entry point is named in the issue. Start by locating the platform's check view and its handling in the Influx packages or pkger, then confirm which references are still supported; done means the obsolete check view is eradicated without adding pkger support.
